    Arts education and programming for Latino youth, with a full curriculum in theatre, dance, music and visual arts provided after school and on weekends, along with opportunities for performing and exhibiting artwork.

    Youth services include visual and performing arts workshops, mentoring and skill building activities.

The LAYOM Boyle Heights Technology Center offers resources in technology, education, employment, and recreation for Los Angeles Youth. A part of the Los Angeles Youth Opportunity Movement, the 19000 sq. foot facility offers a variety of services and activities including learning web design, music & art programming, fiml editing, animation, as well as general tutoring, child development, and a CAHSEE program.

More activities can be found at the Department of Recreation and Parks website. The DRP maintains safe parks and recreational facilities providing a wide variety of activities which include aquatics, child care, sports, and arts & crafts. Many of their recreation centers also have picnic areas and sports fields.
