MEET the BOARD MEMBERS

JAMES ZAFERIS James E. Zaferis was appointed to the Industrial Development Authority in May of 2007. Mr. Zaferis is President of United Melon Distributors, Inc., a wholesale distributor of fresh fruits and vegetables and started Pegasus Foods, a bakery manufacturing company, and serves as Chief Financial Officer. Together the Los Angeles-based businesses have created more than 200 jobs for Angelinos. Aside from his food manufacturing and distribution ventures, Mr. Zaferis is a licensed general contractor with 10 years experience in residential income property and rehabilitation. James Zaferis is a graduate of the University of Southern California (B.S. in Business Administration).
