State Enterprise Zones (SEZ)
State Enterprise Zones were designated to assist depressed areas of the City with economic development and job creation to stimulate the economy and assist people with barriers to employment find and retain permanent, full-time jobs.

Targeted Employment Areas (TEA), City of Los Angeles
The Targeted Employment Area (TEA) is a State-approved area whose residents are automatically eligible for the Enterprise Zone Hiring Tax Credit. Business submitting Hiring Credit Voucher Applications need provide only proof of the employee's residence within a TEA. The map and Address Range is only for the Los Angeles-Hollywood and East Los Angeles State Enterprise Zones. However, businesses located within these two SEZ jurisdictions may use a valid TEA from another jurisdiction, such as Long Beach or Santa Clarita.
